Probe Kandahar boys’ attack on Tamale DVLA boss Agortime Ziope chiefs to Akufo-Addo LISTEN

The chiefs and people of the Agortime Ziope Traditional Area in the Volta Region are calling on President Akufo-Addo and the police to institute an investigation into the recent attack on the Driver and Licensing Authority (DVLA) in the Tamale.
According to the chiefs, the attack by known Kandahar boys in addition to some ethnocentric comments was allegedly targeted at the Traditional stool father of Ziope, Zikpuitor Frank Gasese who doubles as the Northern Regional Manager of the DVLA.
They say the attack on their indigene is an unfortunate situation.

Two busted for allegedly trafficking 6 teenagers to Togo LISTEN

Two Ghanaian citizens namely Gariba Neutori, 35, Gmabani Gariba, 21 , have been arrested by police in Togo for allegedly trafficking 6 teenagers to Nigeria.
Pan African Organization for Research and Protection of Violence on Women and Children with its partners Ong Cruseat Togo with security agencies in the Tatale Sanguli district rescued the teenagers.

DGN Online indicates that the teenagers were trafficked from Yeji in the Bono East region through Tatale to Togo.
The victims were being prepared to be trafficked to Nigeria from Togo when the Togolese police arrested and handed the suspects and the victims to the Ghana Immigration Service officials at the Ghana-Togo border at Tatale Sanguli in the Northern region.
NDA CEO condemns attack on regional office
The Chief Executive of the Northern Development Authority (NDA), Dr. Alhassan Sulemana Anamzoya has condemned the attack at the regional office of the authority by some youth groups of the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) in Tamale.
The youth groups after what is believed to be a politically motivated attack earlier this month, accused the authority board members of an attempt to spend thousands of Ghana cedis from NDA coffers for end of year party.
NorthernWebGh.com has gathered that, the basis of the attack was ill-informed and unjustified since the Board, and the Chief Executive were not planning an end of year party.

The Northern Regional Secretary of the oppisition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abdul Salam Mohammed has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of masterminding an agenda to tarnish the image of the Member of Parliament-elect for Savelugu in the Northern Region, Alhaji Jacob Iddrisu.
This is after an assault rifle and ammo were found in an office said to be the MP-elect’s during an investigation into gunfire that led to the death of a 17-year-old girl.
The shots were fired during celebrations after Mr. Iddrisu’s victory at the polls.
