Share Eagles To Compete For 4A Bi-District Championship The Hillsboro High School varsity baseball team will play in the University Interscholastic League Class 4A Region II bi-district championship series against North Dallas High School. Game one of the best-of-three game series is set for 7 p.m. Friday, May 7, at Eagle Park in Hillsboro. Game two will be held at noon Saturday, May 8, at North Dallas. If necessary, game three will follow 30 minutes after game two in North Dallas. Coached by Ryan Cook, the Eagles earned the postseason appearance by claiming the fourth seed out of District 11-4A behind Waxahachie Life, Godley and Alvarado. Cook said that his team has seen some tough pitchers in district play and he feels the experience will benefit the Eagles in the post-season.

Twenty-four year old composer and musical prodigy Quinn Mason, a graduate of North Dallas High School, has been making music since he was 10. In middle school, he sketched out an opera while he should have been taking notes during social studies. He was a sophomore at North Dallas High School when the concert band played one of his pieces, the first public performance of his work.
