The State Board of Higher Education approved the requested 2021-22 tuition changes during its regular meeting, Thursday, May 27. As part of the approval process, the board approved the system’s budget guidelines, which then go back to the university presidents to complete their 2021-23 budgets. The academic year that just ended was like no other, for Dickinson State University and other schools. We faced tremendous challenges but had a number of accomplishments despite those challenges. Let’s quickly review a few of them.
In a year when nationwide college enrollment was down about 4.5%, DSU had an enrollment increase. The number of full-time enrolled students increased 4%. Fall head count enrollment was up 6%. Both figures also increased this spring, when compared to last spring. Our head count increase of 91 students was the highest of all eleven North Dakota University System institutions.
