Summer campers wrap up the fun

Some of the traditional summer campers at the North Fort Myers Recreation Center pose and clown around, funny faces and all, for a last day photo on the final day of Camp Friday.
If it seemed like summer camp started and ended too quickly, that’s because it did.
Because of the late start for the previous school year and the early start to this coming one, there were only five weeks of summer camp this year in Lee County.
And because of the continued concern and the recent surge in cases of COVID-19, there were no special trips, meaning the counselors had to again get creative regarding how to keep the campers entertained.
