Tracking school-reported coronavirus cases in the Capital Region

The figures on this page are updated weekly on Wednesdays. Bookmark the page to follow updates. Feb. 10: Summary of COVID-19 cases in K-12 schools in the Capital Region; 179 more cases reported in past 7 days, a 5% increase Public schools reported 179 new cases of COVID-19 among students and staff in the past seven days. It represents a 5 percent increase over the previous week. The number of new cases reported in schools has been falling since it peaked on Jan. 6, when 639 cases were reported after students returned from their holiday break. There have been 3,694 COVID-19 cases among students and staff at the 192 public schools in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady counties since school began. The figures include students and staff who are off-site. Look up specific schools here: COVID-19 in K-12 schools in Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer and Saratoga counties.
