Tickets sold in the city won prizes of $1,000,000 on June 5, $134,170 on June 18 and $333,333 on June 22. The wins, totaling nearly $1.47 million, were the best for Northeastern Ontario while Lotto Max’s top prize waited for a winner for weeks.
Winners have a year from the draw date to claim their cash.
Sault native Tony Bitonti is Ontario Lottery and Gaming’s director of external communications. He checked the files of winners who’ve come forward from late June and confirms the trio of lucky Sault lottery players haven’t picked up their major winnings.
