When the new Google Pay launched late last year, Google was really hyping up its social features and one-stop-shop design for all your payment needs. Now that the app s old version has been stripped of most features, Google is introducing ways to make the new app more appealing, and that brings us to the new Spring Challenge.
Beginning April 12, the Google Pay Spring Challenge will offer cashback rewards for completing various actions within the new app. When performing tasks like completing transactions, sending payments, and even answering fun quizzes, users will collect cute animal stamps within the app. Once five stamps are collected, users will receive a $30 credit in their Google Pay balance.

The challenge started years ago when a businessman provided a million-dollar matching fund for competing food pantries.
When that program ended, an anonymous local resident stepped in to make a partial match for any donations to the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry through March and April.
This year, volunteers, like Bill Vancos, said need for those donations is higher than ever.
The food pantry distributed a record of over a million pounds of food last year.
“Just stop and think about that for a minute,” Vancos said. “One small little food pantry that basically just serves the Rhinelander and surrounding areas has a need for a million pounds of food.”

The local authority wants you to make the most of a rainy day as you’re never too old to splash in a puddle and have fun!
Laois says its #SplashIntoSpringChallenge is for young and old and all abilities - parents and kids, grandparents, etc. You can challenge your friends and family to make their own video or take their own photo and your video or photo could win you a Laois Gift Card!
