A father and daughter were found electrocuted early Monday morning at the site of a downed power line near their Panorama City home, officials reported.
Ferdinand Tejada, 53, and Janine Reyn Tejada, 20, were apparently investigating a power outage caused by the downed equipment in the 14700 block of Tupper Street, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.

Fire officials responded around 2:45 a.m. to a call from a family member, Prange said. Because of the risk of electrocution, the caller was instructed not to intervene or try to prevent further injuries, he said.

Dr. Dre was hospitalized on Monday night after reportedly suffering a brain aneurysm, and according to NBC News, only hours after Dr. Dre was admitted, his home became the target of an “attempted burglary.”

NBC News, which reports “that around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, LAPD officers responded to a report of an attempted burglary in which suspects were seen “coming over a hill” near the 12700 block of Charon Road in the hills above Brentwood.”

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Two people were shot this morning in the Vermont Knolls area of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 6:21 a.m. at 8480 S. Figueroa St., said Officer Lizeth Lomeli of the Los Angeles Police Department s Media Relations Section.
One of the victims was described as a man about 35 years old. There was no description of the other victim or the extent of injuries to both, Lomeli said.
The two victims were taken to hospitals by paramedics, she said.
Two male suspects fled the scene, Lomeli said. No suspect description was available.
