A fire update shared by the Granite County Sheriff’s office says, “at least five cabins and additional structures have been evacuated” in the county.
Neither the Sheriff s Office, nor Inciweb have released specifics about the areas under evacuation orders.

The National Interagency Fire Center reported 8 new fire starts in Montana Sunday that launched light initial attacks by federal, state and local firefighting resources. Two of the fires were out or contained by Sunday night.
The largest of the fires is the 51-acre Keller Welborn Fire burning in grass, sagebrush and timber north of Interstate 94 and along Keller Welborn Road in Yellowstone County.
The National Interagency Situation Reporting Program identifies 73% of the current wildfires in Montana as human-caused and 27% as lightning-caused.
Both the Northern Rockies and the national fire preparedness levels are at fire preparedness level 5, the highest level, because of active fire activity in the region.
Forest Fires Sending Even More Smoke Into Missoula And Bitterroot
Smoke tells the story - Western Montana is filling up with area forest fire smoke. Air quality has been getting worse on a daily basis as the fires continue to grow and are joined by new lightning-caused blazes. Stage 2 fire restrictions (campfires prohibited) are becoming the norm.
In Idaho, the Snake River Complex is now over 102,000 acres and is near other large blazes in western Idaho and eastern Washington. The Dixie-Jumbo Fires are over 24,000 acres 60 miles west of the Bitterroot Valley, south of Grangeville, Idaho. At Lolo Pass, the thousand-acre Granite Pass Complex has caused closure of Lolo Pass Hot Springs and speed restrictions on US Highway 12 going over the pass into Idaho. About 30 miles north of Orofino, Idaho, the Cougar Rock Fire is over 3,360 acres in size.

LOLO PASS â The Granite Pass Complex fires burning in the area of Lolo Pass have seen little recent growth.
The lightning-sparked blazes have burned a little over 1,700 acres and remain 0% contained.
Crews are continuing to work on protection measures around Lolo Hot Springs, Granite Hot Springs and the Lolo Pass Visitor Center.
Fire managers note the Lolo Creek fire is expected to impact US Highway 12 at any time and is expected to jump the road as it moves to the east.
