Mushrooms, demand and labor When it comes to mushrooms, I have to admit that I am completely in the dark. Do I like them? Sorta, sometimes but they are not on my list of things that I have a craving for. That said, I have had second hand experience with mushrooms. Every year, dear friends of mine come in from Seattle, visit, and then go searching for morels with their son who is an expert. The other experience I have had, is firsthand, inasmuch as I visited a mushroom growing operation when I was working for ESPN. Dank, dark, RIPE environment.
