St Vincent has unveiled a new song.
Down serves as the third and final preview of Annie Clark s imminent LP, Daddy s Home , due out this Friday (May 14) via Loma Vista Recordings.
Tapping into the 70s rock aesthetic of the record, the funked up groove unfurls around layered synths, guitars and harmonic backing vocals. Head below to view the accompanying retro video co-directed by St Vincent and Bill Benz.
This summer, everywhere is nowhere as Rise Against have announced plans to bring their Nowhere Generation tour to U.S. audiences this summer.
With a blistering new album filled with band s on-point brand of politically-infused rock, Rise Against are set to welcome fresh material into sets to accompany their already raucous catalog.
The trek gets underway June 30 in New York and continues over 17 dates before wrapping Aug. 24 in Salt Lake City. This figures to be the first of plenty of touring in support of the new album, and like many acts, Rise Against can t wait to get out on the concert stage after a year in lockdown.

BEVERLY HILLS The Beverly Hills Police Department responded to a report of a residential burglary on April 20 at the 1900 block of Loma Vista Drive. During their investigation, police discovered that the suspect was responsible for a residential burglary that took place on July 20, 2020, on the 1900 block of Stanley Drive. The suspect and the car he was driving were captured on surveillance video, tying the suspect to both crimes. The video showed the suspect was stealing flat-screen televisions during both incidents.
The BHPD conducted a traffic stop on May 2, and the driver was identified as Rockim Prowell, 30. Officers discovered the license plates on the vehicle were stolen and several items found in the vehicle were connected to the residential burglaries that transpired on July 20, 2020, and April 20, 2021.
