Earlier this year, Queenstown harbourmaster Marty Black scooped his second major Lotto win in four years.
Another three people – from Paraparaumu, Marlborough and Geraldine – also split a $1 million Lotto First Division prize, while another Auckland winner took home $300,000 through Strike Four. There were no Powerball winners on Wednesday, so the jackpot rolled over to $6 million ahead of Saturday’s draw. Wednesday s winning Lotto numbers were 10, 15, 17, 23, 28 and 29. The bonus ball was 26 and the Powerball was 9. Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back and check their ticket at any Lotto NZ outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.

It was a lucky run in the top of the south, with a player from Marlborough taking home a share of first division.
A Geraldine ticket won $333,333 in Wednesday night s Lotto First Division. The ticket, sold at Fresh Choice supermarket, shared the $1 million first division prize pool with other tickets sold in Paraparaumu and Marlborough. The Geraldine win is the second first division win for South Canterbury in 2021 after The Market Store in Twizel sold a ticket that won $2.8 million on January 2.
