One lucky player won R60 million from the Friday 15 January PowerBall draw, following 11 roll-overs since the last win on 1 December 2020.
The winner purchased the ticket using the FNB banking app, with a R52 ticket wager and a manual selection method. The winning PowerBall numbers in numerical order, were: 24, 31, 40, 45, 48, PowerBall 20.

On Boxing Day the family, who doesn t want to be named, discovered they had won over 18-million dollars on Lotto Powerball - the second largest prize for 2020.
The family had treated themselves to draws on both the 23rd and 26th of December from the Waitaki New World in Oamaru.
That amount of money could also buy the winner a lifetime’s supply of Whitestone cheese, made in the heart of Oamaru. They could also buy a case or three of the Oamaruvian 18-year-old, 100-proof whisky from the Oamaru-based NZ Whisky Company.

Oamaru’s New World supermarket sold the winning $18.25m Lotto ticket. The winner could choose to deck themselves and their family out head to toe in steampunk gear, especially since Oamaru is the steampunk capital of the world, according to
