Ohio State Visits No 3 Illinois to Start 2021 Season

Share COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s gymnastics team is set to open the 2021 season on Saturday when it visits No. 3 Illinois at 2 p.m. ET. Due to COVID-19 restrictions in the state of Illinois, there is no public access to the event. WEEKLY BASICS SCOUTING ILLINOIS Illinois started its 2021 campaign with a 384.750-310.100 win over Northern Illinois last Friday in the first virtual competition in NCAA history. Evan Manivong captured event titles on floor and vault while Logan Myers, Will Hauke and Tommy Mistretta claimed the first event titles of their careers. THE SERIES The Illini own a 111-81-2 advantage in their all-time series with the Buckeyes. The two programs were set to meet during the 2020 season but the competition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The teams last went head-to-head on March 24, 2019 when Ohio State edged out Illinois, 406.600-404.000, in Columbus.

I was surprised to see a Facebook note from a radio friend talking about Blake Shelton playing the Iowa State Fair this summer. And even more shocked when I went to their website to see the entire lineup. So I decided to do some snooping and see what states have already announced some of their acts for Fairs scheduled for this summer. The Iowa State Fair lineup is impressive. And their fair takes place the same dates ours does. Is it too much to ask some of these artists to play Missouri too?
