Immersive Van Gogh is set to light up Cleveland in September

The show s producer, Lighthouse Immersive USA, announced in a news release that Immersive Van Gogh will open here on Thursday, Sept. 9. Tickets will be available at vangoghcleveland.com; prices are $39.99 in off-peak times and $49.99 at peak times. Presale tickets are available now; general ticket sales start Friday, April 9.
It s an hourlong, timed-entry, walk-through experience. Capacity will be limited in accordance with the city of Cleveland s safety protocols. Additional safety precautions will include touchless ticket-taking, temperature checks on arrival, hand sanitizer stations, social distancing markers and digitally projected social distancing circles on the gallery floors to ensure appropriate spacing. The famous Immersive van Gogh is making its way to Detroit in a few months. You ll be able to experience his artwork projected over 500,000 cubic feet. The exhibit will walk you through every detail and brush stroke of van Gogh s portraits and paintings.
According to the Immersive van Gogh website, the exhibit will feature the following pieces, the Mangeurs de pommes de terre (The Potato Eaters, 1885), Les Tournesols (Sunflowers, 1888), La Chambre à coucher (The Bedroom, 1889) and one of my favorites, the Nuit étoilée (Starry Night, 1889).
