There were many current, future and hopeful Razorbacks that were drafted in this years Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft.
It was brought up several times during the postseason that Arkansas wouldn’t have a single player in the top 50. That actually ended becoming very true. The Razorbacks almost didn’t have a player drafted in the first 100 picks (Kevin Kopps, 3rd round, 99th pick).

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers announced their eight selections from the second day of the 2021 Draft, picking Gilman School right-hander Peter Heubeck (third round, 101st pick), UCLA right-handed pitcher Nick Nastrini (fourth round, 131st pick), University of Connecticut righty Ben Casparius (fifth round, 162nd pick), Boston College right-hander Emmet Sheehan (sixth round, 192nd pick), Texas Tech reliever Ryan Sublette (seventh round, 222nd pick), University of Georgia southpaw Ben Harris (eighth round, 252nd pick), University of Arkansas lefty Lael Lockhart (ninth round, 282nd pick), and St. Mary’s College right-handed pitcher Michael Hobbs (tenth round, 312th pick).
