Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 11, reveal that Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) were in bed at the DiMera mansion when Kate got a call about official city news. Kate listened, then said that she’d give Abe Carver (James Reynolds) the heads-up. Kate then told Jake that his mother was alive.
Jake was puzzled, since they went to Vivian Alamain’s (Linda Dano) funeral. Kate remarked dryly that no one stays dead in Salem, and that Vivian had been in Chicago plotting her revenge against Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) for shooting Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).

After Gwen calls Jack over, she’ll open the door and reveal the aftermath of her confrontation with Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer).
When Jack looks down on the floor and sees Laura bleeding from a gash on her head, he’ll immediately freak out. Jack will scramble to stoop down and check Laura’s pulse.
Jack will probably shout about how they have to call paramedics, but Gwen will insist it’s too late for that. Jack won’t find any signs of life, so he’ll have to agree that Laura’s dead and gone.
