The board of Dairygold Co-op has announced a price increase of 0.5c/l, which it says brings its base price to 32.7c/l, excluding VAT, at 3.3% protein and 3.6% fat for March milk supplies including bonuses.
In addition to this, Dairygold pays a March early calving bonus of 1.0c/l, which will be paid on milk supplied in March.
Carbery also increased its milk price by 1c/l, so the individual co-ops that supply Carbery (Lisavaird, Bandon, Barryroe and Drinagh) are all meeting and will presumably increase milk price by 1c/l also.

The Glanbia milk price falls from 36.1c per litre (cpl) (including VAT) for February creamery milk to 34.6 cpl (including VAT) for March, at 3.6% butterfat and 3.3% protein.
Glanbia Ireland pay a base milk price for March of 34.18 cpl, up 1.5 cpl from February.
Added on is the 0.42 cpl payment from Glanbia Co-op on all milk supplied this month as their share of GI profit. But the seasonality bonus of 3 cpl is gone.

Lakeland Dairies has announced higher revenues and operating profits for 2020, while it also said it paid a competitive milk price to milk producers throughout the year.
Farmer-owned Lakeland Dairies is the largest cross-border dairy processing co-operative on the island of Ireland.
It collects 1.9 billion of litres of milk from 3,200 farm families across 16 counties in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The co-operative has a portfolio of 240 different dairy products made on eight processing sites which it exports to over 80 countries worldwide.

Lakeland Dairies, the farmer-owned dairy co-op based in Co Cavan, recorded double-digit profit growth last year despite the impact that Covid-19 had on its food-service business.
Announcing full year results, Lakeland Dairies recorded a 27 per cent increase in operating profits last year to just over €26 million, as operating profit margins in the business widened to 2.4 per cent.
