Olivia Rodrigo has released her debut album, âSour,â on the heels of her hit single, âdriverâs license.â
Like Morissetteâs âJagged Little Pill,â Rodrigoâs music is filled with anger over the betrayal by a boyfriend and the heartbreak that is experienced when she realizes forever doesnât last as long as she wished.
Add in some grunge-like guitars pumping at a punk rock pace in tracks such as âSourâsâ opener, âbrutal,â and itâs almost like itâs 1995 all over again.
