An eighteen-year-old boy who was pronounced dead began to breathe again only hours before his organs were to be taken for donation.
Lewis Roberts had been rushed to the hospital via helicopter where he underwent emergency surgery due to the serious brain injuries he had sustained after being hit by a van in Leek, England. However, despite their efforts, doctors told his parents that there was no more that could be done for the teenager.
