New California program awards 21 communities, tribes $20 million to launch shared, zero-emission mobility projects

Ride-on-demand services For many awardees this will be a first-of-its-kind mobility project to be funded and launched in their community. Funding for CMO is made possible by California Climate Investments, a statewide initiative that puts billions of cap-and-trade dollars to work reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening the economy, and improving public health. The response to the mobility project voucher application window shows there is strong demand and need for this funding. 7,700 customers without power in Delaware County after train hits power lines

Jun 29, 2021 / 05:33 AM EDT DELAWARE COUNTY, Ohio (WCMH) More than 7,700 AEP customers were without power in Delaware County Monday after a train hit some power lines. According to the Delaware County post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a train clipped power lines near East Orange Road crossing between Route 23 and South Old State Road. AEP had reported 4,319 customers just north of Lewis Center and 3,472 customers in the Crosswoods area were without power. It has since been restored.
