In an online notice, the newspaper reported Gannett is struggling to find enough delivery drivers to get newspapers delivered on time. May 17, 2021 9:33 AM EDT (ABC Columbia/FILE) SUMTER CO., S.C. (WOLO) – The Sumter County Coroner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist killed in a vehicle collision on Sunday. Coroner Robert Baker says Allen Moffitt, 74, died at Prisma Health Richland hospital after the collision on U.S. Highway 15 near Lewis Road around 10:50 a.m. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Moffitt was driving a 1986 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, when he made an unlawful lane change and hit a 2011 Infiniti. Authorities say Moffitt, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, died, while the Infiniti driver was not injured. This incident remains under investigation.
