Bahrain News Agency. This comes following the recommendation of National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (Covid-19) presented today (March 11) to the Government Executive Committee. The Taskforce, headed by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, Lieutenant-General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, underscored the importance of collective effort to combat the coronavirus pandemic and its variant strain, adding that all decisions and recommendations are periodically reviewed in accordance with the latest Covid-19 data.

Covid-19: Bahrain imposes new restrictions, closes some public spaces

The Bahrain government on Friday imposed a series of restrictions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus after a new rise in the number of infections in the country.
