Jasper Police say theyâre asking the public to help them identify five suspects who were captured on video while trying to commit a burglary.
According to Lieutenant Garrett Foster, it happened shortly after midnight on Thursday, July 22
nd, at the Jasper Youth Baseball Association Club House, located at the Little League Ball Park on State Street.
The video shows the suspects to be all white males, and when one of them realized that they were under a security camera, four of them hid their faces from view.

Jasper Police say a trio of suspects managed to elude capture following a Sunday night pursuit that reached speeds of 100 miles-per-hour on a rain soaked highway.
According to Lieutenant Garrett Foster, Officer Brian Gray attempted to stop a 2006 BMW sedan in north Jasper. However, the driver fled westbound on Farm to Market Road 2800 and then northbound on County Road 120 in the Westlake Community before stopping the car.
The three suspects, all described as black males, fled on foot into a muddy wooded area. Police said two were wearing red shirts and one was wearing white shorts.
Foster said inside the car officers found an AK style rifle, along with a Glock 40 caliber handgun and a 9mm clip, and on the ground near the car officers found a 40 caliber clip.
