Pope Francis upcoming meeting with Lebanon s Christian leaders is an opportunity for the Holy See to make a difference in the country s continuing political and economic crisis, said Archbishop Paul R. Gallagher, the Vatican foreign minister.
Speaking with journalists June 25 at the Vatican press office, Archbishop Gallagher said that unlike Hong Kong or other places facing political unrest, Lebanon is a place where we perceive we can make a positive contribution.
