National championship matchup set Le Moyne Athletics After the completion of Sunday s semifinal matches, the DII men s lacrosse national championship matchup is officially set. No. 1 seed Le Moyne will take on fellow No. 1 seed Lenoir Rhyne in the title match on Sunday, May 30 at 1 p.m. ET in East Hartford, Connecticut. No. 1 seed Le Moyne defeated No. 3 seed Mercyhurst 11-9 in the first semifinal matchup of the day. Ben Mccreary was Le Moyne s leading scorer in the victory with three goals. Le Moyne remains undefeated this season, moving to a perfect 14-0.  Le Moyne will look to capture its sixth national title in program history.

ALBANY, NY - Their time as Golden Knights isn t officially over yet, but they can see the finish line. As Saint Rose heads into the NE10 Championship Tournament this week, they honored both their regular seniors and fifth-year seniors before their regular season finale on Saturday against American International. That group of eight fifth-year seniors all decided to return to the baseball team after the 2020 season got cut short, to twelve game.  I m happy to have all those guys back and finish off their senior year the right way, said head coach Wayne Jones. One, they re going to get a master s degree, which is huge. Two, they ve been good for our team and they new guys coming in. They re all leaders and the experience they bring to the table helps our whole team.

With four fewer spots up for grabs in 2021 than in 2019, and minimal non-conference play, the selection committee has some tough choices. Let’s take a look at each region and what to expect over the next three days, using the latest NCAA Regional Rankings as a guide. Midwest Region The easiest region to parcel out is the Midwest which has its top two spots locked in for UIndy and Lindenwood. Both have proven to be elite this year and earned impressive non-conference victories while only losing to each other. In the third position is currently Regis, who plays for an RMAC Title this weekend.
