It s time for our quarterly review of relevant recruiting rankings. Why? Because big moves can mean as much as where they re ranked. Ratings are on a curved 5-star scale that averages all available data. Remember that players will tick downwards as a class progresses so dropping from 150th to 158th in a three-month period is nothing. Further explanation of all this here. Updated roster data are here.

West Bloomfield star running back Donovan Edwards appeared on national TV Wednesday afternoon, rocking a chic white winter coat as the bright snow continued to fall in the background.
Family and media gathered on West Bloomfield’s high school football field in sub-freezing temperatures to see Edwards, one of the top high school prospects in the country, make his college decision.

A few prospects’ decisions on early signing day could have a drastic effect on Michigan’s 2021 recruiting class.
Most of the team’s 21 commits are locked in with the Wolverines heading into Wednesday, but a few are on the fence.
Michigan’s top remaining target in the class, West Bloomfield four-star running back Donovan Edwards, also is set to announce his decision at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on ESPN2.

Much like the Michigan football team’s current players, the Wolverines’ 2021 recruits also are tuning out most of the outside noise surrounding the program.
Despite Michigan’s struggles this season and the uncertainty surrounding the future of the coaching staff, most of the team’s 21 commitments are locked in with the Wolverines heading into tomorrow’s Early Signing Day.
