BRIDGEPORT, Pennsylvania (WPVI) Residents in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania are buried in nearly a foot of snow after a days-long winter storm.
Officials said it s been a difficult storm to manage with mixtures of snow and sleet making roads icy.
At points Monday, plow trucks switched over to spreading salt and brine to keep roads from icing over.
According to the National Weather Service, about 26.9 of snow was measured in Salford Township. In Norristown, 6.8 inches accumulated.
On Main Street in Norristown, Amzie Denson was seen spinning out as a couple of men stopped to try to help her get the vehicle going.

A 26-year-old Paterson man was stabbed dead during a group brawl before dawn Sunday, authorities said.
Police conducted CPR after finding Luis Ramirez stabbed, unconscious and bleeding on the ground next to a parked vehicle in front of a three-story brick walkup on Park Avenue off East 22nd Street shortly before 12:30 a.m., responders said.
Ramirez was pronounced dead at the scene soon after, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora said in a noontime release.
They didn’t say whether any suspects had been identified or arrested.
Valdes and Baycora did ask that anyone who might have witnessed the incident or has information that could help identify whomever was responsible contact the prosecutor’s tips line at

A man was fatally stabbed early Sunday morning near Park Avenue in Paterson, authorities said.
Police responded to the area of 315 Park Avenue shortly before 12:30 a.m. after receiving a report of a group fighting and a victim who was stabbed, according to a statement from the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officers found 26-year-old Luis Ramirez lying on the ground near a parked vehicle, unresponsive, with stab wounds, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the statement said.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police did not indicate in the statement whether there were any suspects at this time.
