CRISTIANO RONALDO SCORED a double as Juventus thrashed Parma 4-0 on Saturday to move within one point of Serie A leaders AC Milan.
The Turin giants, chasing a 10th straight league title this season, remain unbeaten after 13 matches this term.
Ronaldo, who missed a penalty in the midweek 1-1 draw with Atalanta, made amends with his third brace in four games.
Third-placed Juve sit level on points with Inter Milan, who welcome Spezia to the San Siro on Sunday, when AC Milan also visit Sassuolo.

Cristiano Ronaldo responded to recent criticism with two goals to help Juventus win at Parma 4-0 in Serie A on Saturday.
Dejan Kulusevski scored Juve’s opener against his old club as the nine-time defending champion moved level with Inter Milan, a point behind leader AC Milan.
Both Milan sides play on Sunday, when the Rossoneri travels to Sassuolo and Inter hosts Spezia.
Juventus has drawn half of its 12 Serie A matches. In the last stalemate midweek against Atalanta, Ronaldo had an unusually sub-par performance and a penalty saved.
Kulusevski was given a start against his old club. The 20-year-old midfielder spent last season on loan at Parma, during which he completed a permanent transfer from Atalanta to Juventus.

Since the last international break in November, there have been some promising signs about Andrea Pirlo’s Juventus. A couple of performances that make you look up and say yeah, this time is headed to the right place. Sometimes the results, like Wednesday’s draw against Atalanta, don’t completely show it, but there has been steady improvement over the last month.
But Saturday night’s game against Parma was the clearest sign yet that Pirlo’s Juve is trending in the right direction.

A brace from Cristiano Ronaldo inspired Juventus to a 4-0 victory over Parma in a Serie A clash on Saturday evening.
Veteran Gianluigi Buffon started against the side he first turned out for, while Dejan Kulusevski, Aaron Ramsey and Alvaro Morata were the other notable changes from Juventus.
Juventus were forced into an early bit of defending after Buffon made use of his legs to thwart a back-post attempt from Juraj Kucka in the nick of time.
The Bianconeri were up and running inside midway stage of the first half when Kulusevski carved out a yard of space in the six-yard area to send a low cross from Alex Sandro into the bottom-corner.
