Marriott International (NASDAQ: MAR) CEO Arne Sorenson passed away at the age of 62 following a bout with pancreatic cancer.

FAIRMONT Blake Potthoff is well-known in the area. Executive Director of the Fairmont Opera House, Potthoff is one of four people set to be honored at an upcoming “4 Under 40” recognition event. The event is meant to honor those young people in a community who are up and coming leaders in the community.
Potthoff was available to share his background and how he got to where he is now.
“I grew up outside Dunnell and graduated from Martin County West High School in Sherburn in 2010,” Potthoff said. “Then I went to Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, and graduated from there in 2014.
Rev. Theodore Peterson
Reverend Theodore B. Peterson, 87, of Bemidji, MN died Friday, January 15, 2021 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.
Drive – In Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the First Lutheran Church parking lot in Bemidji with Rev. Corey Fuhrman and Rev. Linnea Papke-Larson officiating. The service will be broadcast on a limited area radio frequency. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.
Reverend Theodore B. Peterson was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 26, 1933 to John and Lilly Peterson. At age seven the family moved to Franklin, MN where he graduated from high school in 1951. Ted attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa where he met his future wife, Mildred. He graduated from Luther College in 1957 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Christopher Alvarez Chedzoy says he juggles several careers. Heâs a realtor for Brinkman Preferred Properties, currently involved in helping ease Kerrvilleâs housing shortage. Heâs also the co-founder of Basement Brewers of Texas. For fun, he runs with the âHill Country Blues Rugbyâ team.
He says his name is also an amalgam. âIn college in 1992 I was able to study abroad in Seville, Spain, so I learned Spanish. Later, while I was working for Koth Equipment, they were building meat-packing plants all over the world, and I was an export/import manager living in Kansas City, Mo. There was a group of 20 to 40 Spanish speakers who used to meet for dinner and dancing. Thatâs where I met Dr. Nancy Alvarez.
