NEW IBERIA, La.
â The Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations was requested Monday by the New Iberia Police Department (NIPD) to investigate a shooting incident involving their officers.
The preliminary investigation revealed that shortly after 1:15 p.m., NIPD was contacted about a vehicle stopped in the roadway near the intersection of Center Street (LA Hwy 14) and Dale Street with the driver sleeping in the driverâs seat, according to TFC Derek Senegal, spokesperson for Louisiana State Police Troop I.

WHITE CASTLE, La. â The Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations say they were requested by the White Castle Police Department to investigate a shooting incident involving one of their officers Friday.
According to a release from LSP, the preliminary investigation revealed that shortly before 11 am, the Plaquemine Police Department responded to a shots fired call and encountered the suspectâs vehicle.
Plaquemine Police Department officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, however, the suspect refused to stop and a pursuit ensued.
The suspect alluded the officers and a âBOLOâ was issued.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Two women are facing charges for allegedly selling fake Louisiana Motor Vehicle Inspection Stickers (MVI) and Louisiana Temporary License Plates through social media accounts.
Louisiana State Police said Louvenia Allen, 30, of Baton Rouge, and Yakevia Hicks, 34, of New Orleans, were arrested on Thursday, May 13. They were both booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of forgery of a motor vehicle inspection certificate, computer fraud, and criminal conspiracy. No bond is set.
