Tottenham Hotspur Women traveled to the Madejski Stadium to face Reading Women in a match that was postponed from earlier in the season. Spurs were hoping to snap a four match losing streak. And that’s exactly what they did, though not in the way they wanted. Despite a ton of counters and a flurry of late chances, Spurs couldn’t find a way past Reading’s keeper. But then again, Reading couldn’t score either. The final score was a fairly entertaining 0-0 draw.

The sun shone on a lovely day in London as Tottenham Hotspur Women hosted Everton Women at The Hive in Edgware. The match didn’t turn out to be as positive as the weather for Tottenham, however. Tottenham were victims of two harsh penalty calls by the match official, but roared back to level the score from a 2-0 deficit. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep Everton out and ultimately fell to the Toffees, 3-2.
The biggest change to Tottenham’s last lineup was a debut for 18-year old Spurs defender Esther Morgan, who came into the team at right back for the injured Ashleigh Neville at the expense of striker Rianna Dean. Rosella Ayane also came in, and Gemma Davison was a last-minute change for Cho So-hyun. Rachel Williams, Hannah Godfrey, Ashleigh Neville, and first choice keeper Becky Spencer all missed the match with injury.

Arsenal’s Héctor Bellerín has become a noted fashion enthusiast in the football world, so when I found out he collaborated with H&M for a collection, I was pretty curious to see his vision in designing clothes. Edition by Héctor Bellerín launched last week, and features clothing he and the brand describe as relaxed and genderless, and is designed with sustainable fabrics. The aesthetics live up to the billing.

A very small conversation yesterday evening led me to a question: Do people really like turkey? Before I have to continue, I have to say that I asked this question out loud and my younger sister told me she likes turkey. Her response prompted me to rephrase my question, because while I realized that my opinion about turkey is a bit more layered, it’s still rooted in the same concept.
