World renowned illusionist Jason Bishop will bring his slight-of-hand tricks to the Willard & Lucy Kinzer Theater in the Mountain Arts Center (MAC) on Thursday, August 12. After performing for various residencies in Las Vegas, and across the United States, he is bringing the magic to eastern Kentucky.
Bishop is an international award-winning illusionist who was the youngest person to win the Magician’s Alliance of Eastern States Stage Award and one of the youngest people to compete in the Society of American Magicians World-Class competition. In college Jason studied theatre and then went on the road performing at resorts and amusement parks, anywhere he could find an audience, including the street. As audiences enjoyed the show more and more, he altered his magic to became larger and more impressive.

One of the regionâs most popular and experienced rock/blues bands, Down to The River, will present âDark Side of The Riverâ in the Willard & Lucy Kinzer Theater at the Mountain Arts Center (MAC) on Friday, April 2. This concert will be their take on Pink Floydâs classic concept album âDark Side Of The Moon.â
Band leader, guitarist, and vocalist Tony Mullins describes his excitement.
