DETROIT – Jonathan Bernier is 5-3-0 for a team that has won only six of 22 games, which is remarkable.
Bernier arguably was the Detroit Red Wings’ most valuable player during a disastrous 2019-20 season. He has been their best player in a small sample size this season, as they continue struggling to score and get virtually nothing from their power play.
