Indiana Man Arrested in Ohio Cold Case
HAMMOND, Ind. For twenty years, a cold case in Toledo, Ohio left police without a suspect. But a trip to neighboring Indiana may have finally produced that suspect.
The Toledo Police Department and Lucas County Sheriff’s Office made a trip to the Hoosier state Monday, where they arrested Kenneth Marshall of Hammond on charges of murder and rape. In 2000, three teenage girls were attacked, abducted, and raped. According to court documents, the first attack happened in April of 2000, when a 19-year-old girl was found strangled to death in an apartment building. In August of 2000, police learned that a 17-year-old girl had been raped behind a laundromat. Finally, in October of 2000, a 13-year-old girl was raped.

Aaron Ferguson, 29, was booked just after midnight on Friday, Sept. 11. He was arrested on charges of burglary and aggravated theft.
Less than 24 hours after his booking, Ferguson was found unresponsive.
According to a police report, nurses and EMS personnel conducted life-saving measures, but Ferguson was declared dead at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center just one hour later.
Two children rescued from house fire in Ohio

Captain Tricia White, with the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office, tells 13abc that Deputy Ray Lemble, Deputy Christopher Bunker, and Deputy Craig Barth were in the area and were first to arrive on the scene.
Upon arrival, the deputies heard a young man screaming that his brother and sister were trapped on the second floor of the home, Cpt. White said.
