Lewes Council needs Jones to represent

Several years ago, in the process of restoring the former St. Paul ME Church in the Lewes historic district, we got to know Carolyn Jones, who is running for Lewes City Council. Right away, she welcomed us and helped us engage in local civic life.

It is time to tap local talent in Lewes

I found Lewes just four short years ago, and I have been a resident ever since, so I have come to learn of and appreciate the wealth of talent that exists herein. Shocked and dismayed that I was unable to vote in the recent primaries because I was.

Del Parks April 8, 2021 “All politics is local.”  Former Speaker of the House Tip O’Neill made this point in his 1982 election when his seat was challenged in a Massachusetts election. It speaks to how important our upcoming Lewes City Council election is, and the decision we make on who will represent us.  Carolyn Jones stands out as a highly qualified person who is most capable of filling this role. She possesses the skilled leadership, depth of experience, and dedication to our community; all are critical competencies required to represent us.   As a longtime resident and volunteer in our community, Carolyn has the crucial leadership skills needed to ensure that the unique qualities which make Lewes special are maintained as our area experiences continued growth and greater pressure is placed on our infrastructure.  Although growth may be inevitable, how that growth is managed will depend on talented, experienced representatives making important decisions
