WEST YORKS NEWS Police are seeking witnesses to help assist their enquires after a man was assaulted in Leeds City Centre by a group of youths POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted by a group of youths, made up of five males and a female, in Leeds City Centre. The incident occurred at approximately 3.55am on May 29, outside the Samsung store on Briggate, when officers attended reports of an ongoing fight. The 29-year-old victim was alone and wearing a blue jacket at the time of the incident. Officers believed there may have been a number of people present who witnessed the assault and are asking those with any information that may assist with enquiries to contact police.
