Associated Press A Jackson city councilman is hosting a march on Sunday in an effort to combat violence in Mississippi s capital city. Jackson City Councilman Kenneth Stokes told WAPT-TV that Mississippi Department of Corrections Commissioner Burl Cain, Hinds County Sheriff Lee Vance and Jackson Police Chief James Davis are among the speakers planned for Sunday s “Stop the Violence” march. The march is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Mississippi and Congress Streets and will end at Jackson City Hall.
