cannabis A MAN has been sentenced for drug driving. Jordan David Thexton admitted that he drove his Mitsubishi L200 with cannabis in his system on December 2. It happened on Singleton Park Road in Kendal, South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court heard. Prosecutor Lee Dacre said police stopped the defendant around 7pm on the day and were alerted to a strong smell. “The offside light wasn’t working, he said. “There was a smell of cannabis.” The court was told the defendant had 6.2 micrograms per litre of blood The defendant, who represented himself in court, told magistrates he had taken ‘a few drags’ of cannabis that morning with a friend.
