COMMUNITY GROUPS in Brixton are calling on London Mayor Sadiq Khan to overturn Lambeth council’s decision to build a 20-storey office block in Electric Avenue.
Activists claim that less than 1% of the space in the development would benefit the local community. There are also fears that an influx of office workers may affect locals access to nearby amenities, such as the sports recreation centre.
