Apr 28, 2021 EAST LIVERPOOL In East Liverpool Municipal Court, John Sullivan, of Vine Street, was sentenced to $225 plus costs and 180 days in jail on charges of violating a protection order (two counts), hit-skip and failure to maintain an assured clear distance. A review hearing is set Dec. 3. Brandon D. Savin, of Valley Avenue, was sentenced to $500 plus costs and 180 days in jail (30 days imposed) on violating a protection order and domestic violence. Michael A. Stover, of Thomas Road in Lisbon, is set for a motion hearing June 8 on charges of OVI and possession of marijuana. Brendon M. Carr, of Commerce Street in Wellsville, is sentenced to $575 plus costs and 30 days in jail (three days imposed) on charges of OVI, possession of marijuana and failure to control. His review hearing is set Aug. 6.

EL landlord guilty of two nuisance complaints for high weeds | News, Sports, Jobs

sujhelyi@reviewonline.com EAST LIVERPOOL East Liverpool Municipal Court Judge Dominic Frank ruled a city landlord’s Denver Street property was a public nuisance, electing to convict him of half of the housing code violations levied against him earlier this year. In the judgment entry, which was released Monday, Frank agreed that Aaron Stevens, who possesses 145 properties within the city, was guilty of violating East Liverpool’s high weeds ordinance at two of this properties. Sentencing is May 10. The maximum sentence is a $500 fine and 60 days in jail. The judge described his properties as rentals, available for sale on land installment or contracts or currently vacant.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY MUNICIPAL LISBON An April 29 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Steven W. Watters II, 43, Elk Avenue, Lisbon, charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly driving a vehicle with a stolen license plate on Aug. 8. A June 15 pretrial was set for Keith O. Savage, 34, North Jefferson Street, Lisbon, charged with OVI second offense, no temporary permit and left of center. Trey Shields, 21, Lincoln Street, East Liverpool, was fined $1,175, had his license suspended for 180 days, credited with a day in jail, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 40 hours community service for OVI first offense, failure to stop after an accident, failure to control and possession of marijuana.

Nicholson, Lincoln Avenue, was fined $350 and given 40 community service hours and 90 days in jail (10 imposed) on an assault charge. Stephanie A. Barnes, Echo Dell Road, was fined $375 and given 20 community service hours and 120 days in jail (all suspended) for license plate light (two charges), failure to signal, possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. Jay D. Hackathorn, Bradshaw Avenue, was fined $150 and given 20 community service hours and 30 days in jail (all suspended) for theft. Donald Weyand, Moore Street, was fined $750 ($600 suspended if the defendant comes into compliance with city code) for property maintenance, maximum height weed and a housing code violation.
