Lulu and Leo Sayer to join Jools Holland for 25th anniversary tour

Musicians including Lulu, Leo Sayer and Chris Difford are to perform with Jools Holland And His Rhythm And Blues Orchestra on their 25th anniversary tour.
The 19-piece orchestra plan to complete 33 tour dates during autumn and winter next year.
They will perform at venues including London’s Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham’s Symphony Hall and Manchester’s O2 Apollo.

Rock singer Lulu, singer songwriter Sayer and Squeeze co-founder Difford will each be special guests on different legs of the tour, however all will perform at the Royal Albert Hall.
Leo Sayer Signs Publishing Partnership With Primary Wave
British/Australian superstar Leo Sayer has signed a partnership agreement with Primary Wave Music Publishing for his songwriting catalogue.
Leo has written Gold and Platinum hits including ‘Thunder In My Heart’, ‘You Make Me Feel Like Dancing’, ‘How Much Love’, ‘The Show Must Go On’, ‘Long Tall Glasses’, ‘Giving It All Away’ and ’Moonlighting’. He has had two US number ones and a Top 10 million selling US album with ‘Endless Flight’.
The deal will expand on the ability of Leo Sayer as an artist and businessman to earn a living from his creations instead of it allgoing to record labels and streaming companies.

Primary Wave, which has been on a songwriter acquisition binge all year, is rounding out 2020 by purchasing a stake in Leo Sayer s publishing catalog and master recordings, which includes his hits You Make Me Feel Like Dancing and Long Tall Glasses (I Can Dance), as well as the Cliff Richard-sung Dreamin .
The deal covers a stake in both publisher s and writer s share for post-1993 songs, and writer’s share for songs written prior to that year; while the master recording stake is a share in the royalty income stream paid to Sayer from the various labels he recorded for.
