Phoot: Daniel Graves Aldi is expanding its click-and-collect services in London after launching its trial to a further two stores in the region, including its stores in Waltham Forest and Hillingdon. Customers will now be able to order from a full range of groceries online from groceries.aldi.co.uk then collect them, in pre-booked one-hour collection slots, from the supermarket’s Yiewsley and Lea Bridge stores. On arrival at dedicated click-and-collect points in the store car park, customers will be able to have their shopping brought to their cars by Aldi colleagues contact-free, in line with social distancing rules. Published: 10:03 AM January 7, 2021    Police were called on January 6 at 7pm to reports that a man had fallen from a boat into the River Lea near Lea Bridge - Credit: @999London Specialist officers from the Met s marine policing unit have resumed their search for a man who fell into the River Lea amid freezing temperatures last night. Police were called shortly after 7pm after the man reportedly fell from a boat near to Lea Bridge and The Princess of Wales pub in Lea Bridge Road. An urgent search was launched, and rescue teams scoured the waterway in Lower Clapton, but the casualty wasn t found.
