Kitchen bins are always smelly if used to dispose of food and other nasties.
The problem isn’t solved when you take out the bins, odours linger on the surface of the bin.
Spray the inside of the empty bin with white vinegar and wipe down with a damp cloth.
Paint brushes
If painting is your new hobby in lockdown or you’re doing some DIY, you will have plenty of dirty paint brushes lying around.
Swirl the brushes in a bowl of warm white vinegar and watch the paint fall off after about 30 minutes.
Make sure you rinse well with clean water after and let the brushes dry naturally.
