Lynn Haven was granted $4.4 million for debris removal and the county $4.1 million. These funds will be utilized to pay off the Hurricane Michael disaster bond that the city took out in August 2019, said Lynn Haven City Manager Vickie Gainer. We want to pay down as much of that debt as we can.
Lynn Haven s $31 million bond covered debris removal by Crowder Gulf and AshBritt from March 7, 2019, to Jan. 11, 2020. The city did an additional pass in the fall of last year to make sure all the debris had been removed and processed.
Gainer said the city is on a schedule to pay down the bond, and the $4.4 million grant will be an additional payment.

The same webpage still includes directions to the store which state that it is centrally on level 2, opposite Pottery Barn. However, Pottery Barn vacated the mall in January 2019.
At the same time, the center lost Williams-Sonoma, and since then Nordstrom, Forever 21, Banana Republic, and more, have either shuttered or announced plans to close.
Gray said as soon as it became apparent that he would enter the runoff election against incumbent Judy Tinder, the man “started threatening my job, calling my boss saying I was doing illegal stuff, which I wasn’t.”
Emphasizing he does “not have access to information in the VA system” and “everything that I have came from the Supervisor of Elections Office,” Gray said the accusations still “made it all the way up to D.C.” Subsequently, the VA has opened an internal investigation and his supervisor recommended him to leave the race, according to Gray.
“I just had to make a decision that was best for my family, to just take a break for now and catch the next cycle so that I can protect my family and job right now,” he added.

A second Republican has entered the race for Bay County-based House District 6.
Panama City Republican
Jay Trumbull, joining Bay County Commissioner
Clowdus is an Alabama native who moved to Florida last year. In a news release his campaign said the Panhandle has “always been his second home” and that “for three generations, he and his family have continued to grow deep, sandy roots in their favorite place on earth.”
After moving to the state, Clowdus quickly became involved with the Bay County Republican Party to help reelect
Donald Trump, knocking on “thousands of doors,” making “thousands of calls” and volunteering at “countless events.”
