Christopher Walker, 52, is accused of forcing his former girlfriend into a room at her home and strangling her. He let go of her when she tried to call 911, authorities said. The incident was witnessed by another adult at the residence, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office said. When deputies arrived at the residence on Cedar Avenue in Idanha, they said Walker resisted arrest. He was eventually taken into custody and placed in the backseat of a police vehicle, where he began slamming his head into the metal partition between the front and rear passenger seats, authorities said.
