In 2020, when Oregon turned up on CNN, the cable news network has generally been covering protests and wildfires. But on New Year’s Eve 2020, the snowy landscape of Mt. Hood made a cameo appearance. During CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen,” the hosts, who were in New York City’s Times Square, introduced correspondent Gary Tuchman, and his daughter, Lindsay Tuchman, who each year contribute New Year’s Eve coverage from around the county.
