The nurse, who had no previous history of allergies, is now in a stable condition after receiving immediate treatment at the hospital in Juneau, Alaska, where she was given the COVID-19 vaccination. The woman is understood to have suffered a severe anaphylactic reaction that began 10 minutes after receiving the vaccine, the New York Times reported.

NEW YORK: Two healthcare workers, who received Pfizer s coronavirus vaccine, developed concerning reactions, even as the US rolled out the vaccine to frontline healthcare workers and high-risk individuals amid increasing COVID-19 infections across the country.

Alaska: An Alaskan health worker had a serious allergic reaction after getting Pfizer Inc and BioNTech s coronavirus vaccine, but is now stable, public health authorities said on Wednesday. The adverse reaction in the person, minutes after taking the Pfizer shot on Tuesday, was similar to two cases reported last week in Britain.
