Tunbridge Wells Puppetry Festival to be organised by the Hever Festival Theatre team

A puppetry festival which brings live performances by top puppeteers from across the world to Kent has a new team pulling the strings.
The Tunbridge Wells Puppetry Festival was founded by Linda Lewis, who has now retired, back in 2014 and held for the first time in 2015.

The biennial event, which was last held in 2019, will now be organised by Ailsa Molyneux and Alison Bundy, who head the team behind Hever Festival Theatre.

Kassandra Lewis, the sister of U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Keith Lewis, 31, says her brother adored his wife, Sarah, 34, and daughter, Callie, 3, and was excited about the birth of a second daughter, Isabelle, around Christmastime.
The Lewises made plans to celebrate the holiday with Keith’s mom, Lynda Lewis, by opening gifts over video chat.
But tragically, Keith Lewis shot his wife on Dec. 20 and then turned the gun on himself. Sarah Lewis was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.
Their 3-year-old daughter, Callie, was not injured, according to police.
Tours in Afghanistan beginning at age 19 changed Keith, who was a known animal lover and worked for a bird rescue. His mother tried to sway him from joining the military by promising him a cockatoo.

Thomas Alfred Lewis, 74, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past three years, formerly of St. James City, FL and Upper Arlington, OH, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 in Cape Coral. He was born October 19, 1946 in Canton, OH to Alfred and Isabelle Lewis, now deceased.
In addition to creating a loving and beautiful family, Tom had many life accomplishments which included proudly serving his Country as a Boiler Technician in the US Navy aboard the USS La Salle during the Vietnam War; as an Entrepreneur with the creation and success of a telecommunications company (Digital Design – Columbus, OH) and founder and President of American Contractors Association (ACA). Thomas was a strong steward of his Lutheran Christian faith where he served on the Kairos National Board for Prison Ministry and developed a Prison Mentorship Program (Turning Point) to help individuals re-establish life skills after their incarceration.
