Black bear seen in Taunton, Middleboro and Lakeville MA

And it happened in Middleboro.  And Taunton. And Lakeville. The black bear, if it is the same black bear, has been seen lately in Taunton, Middleboro and Lakeville around the area of the Route 44 and I-495 interchange.   A video was posted on Facebook of a black bear spotted on Clayton Road in Middleboro on Wednesday morning. The road is located in a commercial and residential mix neighborhood off Route 44, near the interchange. The person shooting the video through the front windshield of his car, ever-so-slowly followed the bear who scampered into the nearby woods.  On May 12, a black bear was spotted early in the morning scoping out the grounds of the Holiday Inn in Taunton.

Montgomery County nursing programs spotlighted amid coronavirus pandemic

As essential workers continue stepping up to the front lines, providing critical care to patients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, several local higher education institutions are preparing nurses to enter the medical field. “It’s difficult, and people need to understand that nursing is not easy, and I think many people think it’s giving a shot or talking to a patient, but there’s a lot of problem solving; people’s lives are in your hands,” said Linda Roy, director of Montgomery County Community College’s nursing program. “You really have to know what you’re doing and have really good decision making, and problem solving [skills], but it’s very rewarding.”
